Hi everyone! I'll make a longer post to fill you guys in on my life after I finish my homework..until then, these are pictures from this weekend. I went with my host family to el campo (the countryside, about 2 hours west of Santiago) to visit my host mom's mom ("grandma"). The two girls in the pictures are my host sisters, Javiera (3 years old) and Cristina (5 years old).
On Saturday, I went for a run in the mountains! It was amazing..felt like something out of a movie (aka..The Motorcycle Diaries for those of you have seen it..if you haven't seen it, you should). I also sat in the car as we DROVE up these mountains and that was a singularly terrifying experience in which I was sure we were going to die as we turned a very sharp corner in the fog..overlooking a tremendous cliff..
